Anti Monotony

Seluraved.com went down a month ago.. I probably should have just kept it up even though I stopped posting to it after a few weeks. It held great memories of senior year. Its so weird reading old posts especially ones that at the time talk about the future. My last post on the site was talking about how we were going to play Risk during senior week. It actually never happened, we ended up just going out to some bars and chatting it up till 5am. Man good times good times.

Blogging is a great way to break up the daily trudge that is working life. I don't think a morning has gone by where I haven't thought to myself, "How am I going to make this day different?" Usually nothing much happens. I think I said it best in a AIM conversation with Adam

Xiajain: i never want my life to be replicated by a while loop

I do have to say though I never thought a trading floor would be monotonous but it really is. Same analysis done to different companies same stories blah blah blah.

Tomorrow we're having a 'huge night' or so my co-workers say which usually entails leaving work at 7 having some drinks at Dos Caminos. Going to a restaurant like Sushi Samba for dinner and then going to a club like Cain. Which should be really fun. However, I'm somehow quite apathetic. Maybe I'm just sick of the New York scene.

Allen is moving into Hoboken on July 1st so that will be pretty sweet. Amanda is going to room with him. We've been remarkably civil after we broke up 3 months ago. Its like Jerry and Elaine from Seinfeld hehe. Ok I'm off to run. That post really sucked I know. I'm just a bit bummed cause I stupidly didn't buy tickets online for the Get Up Kids concert when I had a shot. Dammit!
